This is by far the best under 10$ food I have had in Toronto. You get a huge portion and the food is very delicious. The staff were very friendly. They have actual healthy options with high protein and lots of veggies that taste great.
Definitely recommend this place is a gem.

Helena's Magic Kitchen is a real find. Located just off McCaul St. it's a little bit out of the way, but it's worth finding. For a small operation, they really understand how to make good food. The eggs in the quiche are perfectly cooked. The salads are healthy and delicious. The latkes are also crispy and delicious. For around $10, you can have a healthy and delicious feast!

Big portion sizes for a good price. I paid $9.95 (tax included) for a big slice of spinach pie and 3 sides. Everything tastes great and the couple running the kitchen were nice. Will definitely be back to try other things on the menu.

I came here a couple times for lunch and the food is always delicious and reasonably priced. For less than $9, you get a stuffed or grilled chicken breast, and 3 sides. There are a ton of really healthy options - I particularly like the barley, beet salad, carrots, green beans, and broccoli. They also have some really good quiches and meat pies.
The couple that work here are lovely and always serve your food with a smile. Highly recommend this place if you want something healthy and cheap!

I wanted to try stuffed chicken combo, but it was sold out around 5:30pm, so ordered chicken of the day instead. I liked corn salad and marinated beets as sides. I had a full meal for only $8. Staff members ( probably owners?) are very kind and nice.

Great place for protein and vegetables. They also have potatoes, so you can get some carbs if you want. The sides are fresh, the prices are reasonable, and everything tastes great. There’s a reason why the line is so long. Highly recommended!
I tried Combo 1 (stuffed chicken breast) and Combo 4 (chicken of the day) — both were delicious, and I’m planning to try the rest of the menu too. I’m staying in Toronto for a month and a half, and I’m so glad this place is nearby!

I highly recommend this eatery if you are looking for a healthy option that is tasty, fresh, and-most importantly-amazingly priced.
I often visit a couple of times a week because the food is consistently fresh. They offer a variety of combo options that include a lean protein, a carb, and a vegetable—all for just 10 bucks!
Imagine trying to prep a healthy meal like that at home-the time and rising grocery costs make it less appealing. The long lineups here speak for themselves. It is a clear sign of great food and dependable service.
You really cannot go wrong with Helena’s Magic Kitchen.

It's crazy how much hearty and healthy food you can get for so cheap! There is such a variety of sides, and they all are absolutely delicious. The carrots and cabbage are especially good for a tangy, refreshing bite, but my favorite is the beets. If you get the stuffed chicken and potato pancakes fresh made, they are so crispy and heavenly. And the grilled chicken is made on the spot. The owners are so kind. I need to try their quiches next time!
